Seems like many times the Coupe, er... make that Cup drivers, come to Phoenix, it rains.
Rain forecast for Saturday's Nationwide race, qualifying and practice. Might be good on Sunday. But us desert dwellers really need it so...

Can't speak for everyone in AZ but I'm excited for the slightest chance of rain over the weekend. Our club is cruising through Jerome and Sedona Saturday, and our veterans group hooked up free duckets for the cup race Sunday.

Sedona... I love that place and Jerome...how can you describe the weirdness of that place.

Jerome would be my Mecca if I was religious. They actually hosted a rally there back in the day. There are some old folks with some amazing barn find cars on the mountain. Between the kaleidoscope shop (must see), haunted hamburger, and Maynard's wine bar I can't think of anything I don't like about the place. An empty 89A through oak creek canyon is my dream road. We'll have at least 4 other r32s for Saturday plus all the GTIs, should be fun in the rain.
